Brief Introduction


The OptiX Metro 1000, a type of STM-1/STM-4/STM-16 case-shaped equipment, was developed by Huawei to enable access for multiple types of services. It can be used at the access layer of Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs) and local transmission networks to access VIP private lines, wireless base stations, and Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexers (DSLAMs).
